What is A2A2 milk?

A2A2 refers to a specific beta-casein protein found in cow's milk. Some people who have trouble digesting regular milk find A2A2 milk easier on their stomach. Our Jersey cows are genetically tested to produce only A2A2 milk.

Is your milk for human consumption?

Not at this time. We are not currently licensed to sell milk for human consumption. We are working toward the necessary licensing and hope to offer fully licensed milk in the future. Please contact us for current availability and intended use.

How should I care for raw milk at home?

Keep milk chilled between 36–38°F for optimal freshness. Store at the back of the fridge, not in the door. Do not drink straight from the jar — this introduces bacteria and causes the milk to sour faster. Best used within 7–10 days. Raw milk does not go rancid, but rather sours and can then be used to clabber or for certain cheeses. The cream naturally settles on top; shake the jar vigorously before each use to mix it back in. We highly recommend these pour spout lids with handle for easy pouring of our milk and less spills!

What do your cows eat?

Our Jersey cow is raised on rotational pastures and receives supplemental hay as needed. During milking season, Pumpkin also receives a natural-based grain supplement to support her nutritional needs — formulated with guidance from a dairy cow nutritionist. She is regularly tested for diseases, and we routinely test the Somatic Cell Count in her milk to ensure quality. She is not given hormones or routine antibiotics.

Do you offer sheep milk too?

Sheep milk is coming soon! Our dairy sheep are high East Friesian, known for their excellent milk production and rich, creamy milk perfect for drinking and cheesemaking.

How is the milk bottled?

All milk is bottled by hand right here on our farm in Pinedale, AZ. We handle every step with care — from milking to bottling — to ensure quality and freshness.

How do I place an order or visit the farm?

Reach out to us by email or phone to check availability and arrange a pickup time. The farm is open by appointment.

Do you sell other farm products?
